Marisin was born in Puerto Armuelles, Chiriqui province. She did her studies in Mississippi. After returning to Panama, she began studies at the American Training Institute where she graduated as a Naturalist Guide,specializing in birdwatching and natural history.

She is an active member of Panama Audubon Society and for many years worked as staff naturalist guide for the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.

She also worked as a Professor of Ecology at the Universidad Latina de Panama. Marisin is characterized by her high degree of responsibility, as well as her vast knowledge in historical, cultural, ecological, political and social issues of Panama, which makes her an extraordinary guide and a grear asset to our company.
